Primitivi, a local media platform from Marseille, invites you to a playful workshop between reality and fiction. Following a short presentation of their film La Bataille de la Plaine and its production process, Sandra Ach and Thomas Hakenholz propose to get involved in a collective process of imagination: At the starting point, a municipality wants to carry out a large urbanistic project in a neighbourhood. But, facing the resistance of the inhabitants, the project is finally abandoned and, worst, the district is erased from the city map and public services are shut down. The inhabitants are suddenly forced to organize themselves. Participants will write voice-over on specific sequences of the film together and then engage in a live reading session in front of the screen. The workshop aims to open up a space for enthusiastic imaginaries.
